Just limping on, dragging my bucket full of love and trying to eke out what I can, to be generous. Why don’t I ask the one who has rushing rivers and deep wells of living water? I’m thirsty. Ever thirsty, never drinking. Just dragging this bucket of all that I can muster in my own strength and effort. I’m sure there’s algae. I wouldn’t choose it for myself, but that’s all the love that my family are getting. Less than it could be. I’m determined to follow my tiny son’s example and keep asking God for all the love that I need, because God never runs out. Overflowing, refreshing, pure, clean, glimmering, sparkling and delicious.
